All Stars 2023
Middleboro All Stars is the summer baseball program. One team will be made for every age group 8-12. The 9U-12U teams are determined by the coaches in the Majors division and the 8U is determined by the AA Managers & Coaches. The coaches nominate the players they feel will represent our league in the best way possible for our National teams. If enough players sign up to create a second team (American team) then it is possible to have one if we have enough interested coaches. . Not every age is guaranteed a second team. Initial sign ups will be done on signup genius in May. Once the coaches make teams the rosters will be posted on our website, as well as calls/emails sent to every player. Once teams are made everything goes by very quickly! Uniform fittings, player verification forms, medical release forms, physical forms.
The 8U team will be participating in the Friendship League. Friendship League is an 8u only league designed to give our youngest players a travel ball experience. Games are often on weeknights and practice is left to the discretion of the coaches. This league starts at the end of June and runs through the first week of August for the championship. This is a great first experience for the 8s in competitive baseball! This does require a bit of travel for away games.
The 9U team will participate in four tournaments over the month of July over the weekends. The Coaches will determine the practice schedule starting in June. The 9s will be hosting a tournament at our Field of Dreams facility over the weekend of July 22nd. Parents will be expected to volunteer for concessions and field prep for the tournament.
The 10U National team will start with practices in early June, then district play at the end of June. The team will then attend tournaments over the month of July. The 10s will be hosting a tournament the weekend of July 30th. Families will be expected to help with concessions and field prep for the tournament. Some travel to other local towns will be required.
The 11U National team will have practices that start in early June. District play will start at the end of June. The 11U Nationals will participate in a competitive league with 5 other local Little League teams and will conclude with playoffs at the end of July. The team will also participate in one weekend tournament. Some travel will be required.
The 12 National teams will start with practice in June. District play will begin in late June. The team has the possibility of up to 3 tournaments on top of District play.
*This is highly competitive baseball. There is no guarantee of making a team. American teams are only formed if there are enough kids of the SAME age interested and we have coaches willing to coach for the summer.
*This league is a big commitment of time and resources if your team makes it to states or further.
*The fee for Summer All-Stars is $250 per kid. This includes a FULL uniform.
