The 2026 Middleboro Little League Tournament is proudly held in honor of Police Lieutenant AJ LaPanna.
We dedicate this tournament to the memory of a true leader… on the field and off. AJ lived a life defined by elite service, from his time in the United States Army Special Forces to his years of dedicated leadership within the Middleborough Police Department. Whether wearing the Green Beret or the badge of a Lieutenant, AJ led with honor, grit, and an unwavering commitment to those around him.
But beyond his service, AJ’s impact was deeply felt right here on our fields. As a coach, he gave his time, energy, and heart to the kids of Middleboro. Teaching not just the game of baseball, but the values of teamwork, discipline, and respect. He was the kind of mentor every player hopes for and every community is lucky to have.
His legacy remains the standard for every officer and firefighter in our town, and his influence continues to shape the young athletes who step onto these fields.
Middleboro is proud to host the 2026 AJ LaPanna All-Star Tournament for 9U and 12U this summer, honoring a man who gave so much to his country, his community, and our league.
Tournament Format: 3-Game Guarantee
The 9U and 12U divisions will be held the weekend of July 30th – August 2nd.
Registration & Requirements:
• You must register and submit payment to secure your team’s spot.
• All teams are required to submit a roster, list of coaches, and proof of insurance by July 1, 2026.
• Failure to submit required documents by this date may result in forfeiture of your team’s spot and tournament payment.
Refund Policy:
No refunds will be issued unless Middleboro Little League cancels the tournament or at the League’s discretion.
Eligibility:
This is a Little League–only event.
• No AAU teams
• No Cal Ripken teams
